Yes. Recordings from the Sound Capsule are uploaded to Nomono Studio, where you can organize and enhance them. From there, you can export standard audio files (like WAV) that work seamlessly in any editing software – whether it’s Pro Tools, Audition, or something else.
The Sound Capsule is a standalone recorder, but the Nomono App is required for the initial setup and Wi-Fi configuration. Once set up, you can record completely offline. The app remains useful for remote control, monitoring, and adjusting settings, and when the Sound Capsule connects to Wi-Fi it automatically uploads your recordings to Nomono Studio Cloud for backup, editing, and AI enhancement.
No. The Sound Capsule is designed to record in any environment, even without Wi-Fi or mobile coverage. Your sessions are stored locally and automatically uploaded to Nomono Studio the next time you’re connected.
Yes. The Sound Capsule is ideal for video production when you need professional dialogue or immersive ambient sound. Use it on set or in the field, then sync the audio with your video in post-production. Since recordings are exported as standard audio files, they integrate seamlessly into any video editing workflow.

Yes. Once your commitment period is over, the Sound Capsule is yours to keep. You can continue your subscription to keep access to Nomono Studio Cloud and benefits like the lifetime warranty. If you cancel your paid plan, your account will automatically switch to the Free plan – and you’ll still keep the hardware.
